My name is Matty and I'm the creator of 11 Bites Bakery. As I follow my passions, I hope to inspire others to do the same!

My love of baking began with helping my grandma make cookies, pies, and cakes as I grew up. The time we spent together in the kitchen created memories I’ll always cherish, and every time I bake, I’m reminded of her. She passed during Covid, and I miss her every day—I hope she’d be proud of me.

In my twenties, my passion for baking was reignited through a newfound love of decorating sugar cookies. That soon led to a macaron obsession, sparked by a table favor at a friend’s wedding. One bite of that delicate cookie, and I was hooked. Determined to recreate its perfect taste and texture, I embarked on a nine-year journey of experimentation and obsessive practice. Little did I know, that path would transform my baking skills and lead me to share my cookies with others.

For years, people told me I should sell my cookies, and in 2020 I finally took the leap. I had dreamed of being an entrepreneur for so long, and now my home kitchen is inspected and licensed by the state of Georgia. I’m excited to share treats unlike any you’ve had before! Baking has become my favorite way to express creativity, from developing unique flavors to designing playful, thoughtful packaging. Every detail is crafted with love—right down to the last bite.

I’ve been a hair colorist for over 21 years and absolutely love the relationships I’ve built with my loyal clientele! My ultimate wish is to one day run my baking business full-time. When I’m not baking I adore spending time with my husband Jeff, our family and friends, and my sweet pup Elleanor. I love to sing, dance, be goofy and enjoy life! I hope you’ll give my treats a try - I’d love to bake for you!
